Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya,Suklai organised Mobile Science Exhibition (Display of Models by students of classes VII & VIII)in collaboration with Vigyan Mela organised at Bholajhar Higher Secondary school,Upurkhuti inauguration done by Sir Apurbajyoti Baishya (CRCC).Where nearby schools participated.More than 80 models were displayed by different schools students.One of our school, Hirakjyoti Deka of Class VIII got the 1st Position .

Students from VKV Suklai secured the following positions : Extempore speech competition Group-A Anamika Basumatary (Class- VIII) -2nd Position. Ganesh Muchahary(Class-VII) -3 rd Position. Group-B Hemlata Devi(Class-IX)-1st Position. Idea competition Pragyan Das (Class-VIII) -1st Position. Model making competition Hirakjyoti Deka (Class-VIII)-3rd Position Susanta Kalita(Class-VIII)-3rd Position

The Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag , Guwahati, in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Golaghat, organized the 6th Srimanta Sankardev Natya Samaroh from November 15 to November 18 at the Birangana Sati Sadhini Kalakshetra auditorium in Golaghat. The inaugural programme attended by Bollywood actress Seema Biswas and judges Purnima Pathak Saikia, Rajiv Sarma, and Subrata Roy. The valedictory programme was attended by Gunakar Dev Goswami. The play "Khiriki" written and directed by Jitumoni Kalita was performed by students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Suklai, under the guidance of Principal Suman Dhar. The students, Tanvi Bhaba, Kunal Das, Bibhash Baishya, Parag Sarma, Bidisha Deka, and Chinmoy Boro, under the leadership of Bhabajit Barman, Ujjwal Bora, and Bandana Talukdar, won the award for the 3rd best play. Bidisha Deka also won the award for best supporting actress. This honor brings pride to the school and the Suklai area of Baksa district.
