Principal's Message

Welcome to the website of VKV, Suklai, Baksa, Assam. VKV, Suklai had a humble beginning in the year 2017. The school aims to create a comprehensive environment where every student is encouraged to explore their potential and achieve their personal best in all aspects of their life. We offer a broad range of opportunities for the students to achieve moral values and character building education.

According to Swami Vivekananda, development of good personality in every human being is essential in case of nation building. We maintain productive relationship and connection with our parents, stakeholders, well-wishers, patrons, local schools and leading institutions. We involve the parents and the society in our celebrations and observations. Many of our alumnus are studying in leading institutions in India and doing well. We are proud of them.

We are proud to be a high performing school and aim to be the selective school of the first choice for all the families in the district of Baksa, Assam.

I am sanguine that VKV, Suklai will continue with its action to reach the peak of its success in the forthcoming years also.

  Cluster level Sanskar Varga Prashikshan Shibir was organised by VKSPV at VKV-Nalbari where eleven students of class VII from our vidyalaya participated in the shibir. Two of our teachers were in the organising team. They were namely Pritam Basumatary and Prakash Sarma. Students were escorted by assistant teacher Barsha Rani Dutta and the shibir started on 22nd March, 2023 and it was over by 27th March, 2023.

"Vidyarambha" was organised by VKV-Suklai for the new comers of classes Nursery and KG on 02/03/23. The programme was formally inaugurated by the Principal who lit the lamp and the ladies teachers sang manglacharan. Principal Sir also addressed the audience. A guru bhajan was sung by the teachers in addition with Saraswati Vandana. The new parents were informed about the rules and regulations of the school. The ideology of Vivekananda Kendra was also told to them. The new students worshipped Goddess Saraswati by offering flowers. They wrote 'OM' on rice and took prasad.

Lachit Divas was observed in school on 24th November, 2022. There was a colouring competition for Nursery & KG students and drawing competition for class I to class V students. Also for senior students there was a quiz competition and go as you like for class III to class V students. Some selected students of class VIII presented band display and a cultural programme related to Lachit Borphukan in Bangalipara Chowk. Chief Guest of the programme was Shesh Prasad Luitel, Retd. Head Master of Bholajhar Uparkhuti High School. The Principal inaugurated the programme by lighting of the lamp. In this programme, the main events included like group song, poem recitation and a shadow formation act by some selected students.
