‘Matri Puja’ was organised in VKV-Suklai on 3rd Feb, 2023 after school. All the parents (mother) of class X students were worshipped by their son/daughter. The students washed their mother’s feet, prayed to them by offering flowers, diya and sweets. They took blessings from their mothers. The entire ceremony was done under the guidance and instructions of Sri D. Malaviya sir of VKV, Baragolai, who arrived the same day. He made the students realised the importance of mother in a person’s life by narrating stories and some real life incidents. At the end some students and parents also shared their experience on this occasion.
